A 23-year-old man has been charged with drink driving following a crash in Scarborough where a car flipped on to its roof.
Police were called to a collision in Columbus Ravine last night at 10.50pm involving a Peugeot 306.
The car had collided with two parked vehicles and landed on its roof.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 23-year-old man from Newcastle, was arrested at the scene of suspicion of drink driving and was later charged with the offence.
He is due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates Court on September 15.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the road was closed. The road is open today.
