A REMARKABLE Scarborough great-grandmother has celebrated reaching the grand old age of 105.
Margaret Barker, who lives in Ravensworth Lodge residential care home for the elderly, received a card from the Queen for her latest big day.
Born in Leeds, Mrs Barker lived in Doncaster with her late husband Ernest for most of her life, working as a manicurist, a dressmaker and at silk works.
She moved to Scarborough in 2000 to be near her son Gerald, of East Ayton.
