Here is a guide on what you can buy that will actually help them in the 2017 golf season rather than a present that will be left unused forever.

Golf Lessons

If lessons work for the best players in the world, then they will work for us all.

If you can, try to book a series of sessions so that the golfer can work on some progressive skill improvements - not just a quick fix.

Golf Club Fitting

Rather than buying them a golf club, book a custom fit session.

This will benefit the golfer as the club will be adjusted perfectly to fit their needs, as we are all different shapes and sizes and have different swings.

Using a radar launch monitor to track the shots, the club that will be selected will help the golfer’s game.

Playing other courses

Book an away day at another course in the area.

The more experiences playing different courses will help improve the golfer.

It will also highlight areas of improvement that they may not be aware of when only playing their course every week.

Clothing

Rather than buying lots of clothing, spend more investing in one or two pieces.

Generally the better the brand of clothing the more technology is invested in the garment.

Nowadays golf clothing is packed with technology that will help your body move better in the different weather conditions.
