Meeting on town future

SCARBOROUGH residents will be able to air their views and concerns over the future of the Town Hall and Futurist Theatre at a meeting tomorrow night.

The meeting, which starts at 7pm, will be held in the ballroom at the Royal Hotel.

Public consultation on both sites will continue until May 30.

Plans to sell off the Town Hall a £3 million deal proposed by the Homes and Communities Agency were revealed in March.

The agency would receive an equity share in the planned development of the building and the Futurist.
