Three men who were arrested following the death of a man near the Grand Hotel will not be charged, police have confirmed.

Ralph Leyland was found on a terraced area near the hotel last month and died as a result of injuries a short time later.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The three men who were arrested in connection with the death of Ralph Leyland in Scarborough on 7 August 2016, have been released from bail without charge.

"Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner."
