FANS of Scarborough’s own popstar Sophia Wardman will have to wait for her band’s debut single as the release date is pushed back.
Belle Amie, who formed on last year’s ITV X Factor competition, were due to release their first single Girls Up on August 7.
However the single, which is being aired on television music channels across the country, will now be available on August 28.
After being voted off the X Factor in the fourth round Belle Amie went on to sign with an independent record label.
For their debut single the girls have worked with producer Chad Burnette, who has worked with Rihanna, Beyoncé and 50 Cent.
The trio are due to appear at this weekend’s Scarborough Fair, performing on the main stage at Saturday’s Beached event.
