CONTROVERSIAL plans for a gas processing plant on the edge of the North York Moors have suffered more delays.
Moorland Energy have submitted plans to build a facility in Thornton-le-Dale and lay a pipeline from the well site near Ebberston.
Eric Pickles, the Government’s Secretary of State for Local Government and Communities, was due to make a decision on the plans.
However, a spokesman has revealed no decision will be made until on or before June 21.
A public inquiry was held into the potential gas plant, in November last year.
At the hearing, which took place in Helmsley, both parties said they believed it had been fair with a “straight down the line” inspector.
