A new feature in your Scarborough News, this week introducing...

Tierney Elizabeth Farrah

10.44am on January 9 2015, weighing 6lbs 12oz. Here’s what her parents say:

The parents ...

Graeme Farrah, 28 years old, Photography Manager at Events Photo, Team & Freelance Photographer for GFarrahFotos/The Scarborough News.

Meg Parkinson, 23 years old, Neonatal Support Worker, Scarborough.

The birth ...

She was born exactly one week before her due date and much to mummy’s delight, it was a quick and easy labour (if there is such a thing as an easy labour!). The song she was born too was Philip George’s Wish You Were Mine (She already has good taste in music!)

The baby ...

She is a little night owl and sleeps most of the day, waking 3-4 hourly for a feed and 2-3 hourly on a night. She doesn’t like having hiccups and loves to be cuddled. She is definitely a daddy’s girl already as daddy just doesn’t put her down! She is a cheeky little girl already and during mummy’s pregnancy she caused her mummy to be in lots of pain but she’s worth every single second! Mummy, daddy and her big brother Ruben love her so much.

The name ...

Tierney – Mummy chose her name and daddy liked it straightaway so we knew that would be her name instantly. It’s an unusual but pretty and girly name.

Favourite toy ...

Her favourite toy is her white cat which she likes to snuggle up to.

Grandparents ...

She is going to be very spoilt and has very proud grandparents Julie and Steve Farrah, Helen and Tony Kirk and the Parkinsons. Also great grandparents Sue and Vic Buck and Wendy and Ray Barwell.

Thanks ...

The parents would like to thank all their family and friends for all their love and best wishes, Sue Finnigan (midwife) and also to the staff at Scarborough Hospital Maternity Unit who were fantastic.
