BUDDING actors, singers and dancers have taken their first steps toward success after enrolling for the new term at Stagecoach in Scarborough.
The theatre arts school has welcomed a number of new starters, who attended their first session on Saturday at Raincliffe School.
The youngsters, aged from four years old, took part in various classes during the morning.
Principal Nicky Sweeney-Chisholm said: “They did really well. Everyone seemed to mix well and enjoy the classes.”
Stagecoach has also welcomed two new teachers this term - Matthew Harper and Christine Bates.
Matthew, who will be teaching drama, lives in York and also works as an actor and director.
She added that Christine has worked with Stagecoach before on leading their choirs and will now be teaching singing alongside Simon Coles.
Nicky said: “They’ve both got some really good ideas and it’s great to have them on board.”
Stagecoach is still enrolling students until the second week in February.
