No need to worry about charity goods

A CHARITY which has two shops in Scarborough is encouraging to people to donate their goods – without worrying about it!

A recent survey has shown that 38 per cent of people in this area are unsure about what to donate to charity shops and a fifth actually worry about it.

With this in mind, British Heart Foundation has launched a stock appeal titled “We love the things you bring”.

The Scarborough store in Newborough is happy to receive saleable donations of clothing, handbags, shoes, books, DVDs, CDs and bric-a-brac.

The furniture and electrical store in Aberdeen Walk is also keen to accept donations and can collect for free. The store is keen to receive any good quality, unwanted items including sofas, dining sets, beds, TVs, kettles, toasters and coffee makers. Go to bhf.org.uk/free to find out more.
