THE onsite nursery at Scarborough Hospital is introducing a holiday club starting from October half term.
Kinder Place took over providing nursery provision at the hospital last November under the leadership of Nichole Swithenbank and it was rated as ‘Good’ in its first Ofsted inspection.
Nichole, Director of Kinder Place, said: “We are delighted that the Trust has agreed to support us in offering staff the option of a holiday club.
“Our deputy manager, Vicky Porritt, has extensive experience with school age children from her previous position as a holiday representative where she ran the children’s clubs and the nursery building has a separate room which would be an appropriate base for the holiday club.
“To start with we are hoping to offer a maximum of eight places to children aged five to eight years, starting from October half term. We would also work flexibly with parents to accommodate shift rotas.”
