That’s one ‘hill’ of a parking job!

An empty car left drivers in Scarborough town centre with a bit of a headache - after it rolled down a hill and caused a traffic backlog.

The Vauxhall Zafira had been parked up on the bank between Aberdeen Walk and Albemarle Crescent, but unfortunately the handbrake seemingly hadn’t been applied properly.

Police officers were spotted unsuccessfully trying to push it back up.

“It was hilarious”, said one eyewitness.

“They were trying to divert buses around it but it was right in the middle of the road.

“The police tried their best to get it up but they didn’t look like they were having much luck.”
