There will be nothing “plane-sailing” for Scarborough woman Sarah Troughton as she takes to the skies to undertake the personal challenge of a lifetime by completing a sky dive in support of Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
In spite of having a fear of heights, daredevil Sarah will leap from 10,000 feet at Grindale Airfield on July 5, to raise vital funds for patient care. Sarah said: “The hospice does an amazing job providing the care they give to our community and I know they rely heavily on donations and volunteers to be able to keep supporting patients and their families.”
She added: “I work at Dale Power Solutions and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the company for paying for the skydive. Also thank you to Life’s Energy, The Hayburn Wyke, The Red Lion, family and friends for their support and donations.” Hospice fundraiser Louise Gravestock said: “We are really grateful that Sarah has taken up this huge personal challenge in support of Saint Catherine’s.” Sponsor her at www.justgiving.com/Sarah-Troughton
