Police are appealing for witnesses after three teenage girls attacked a 13-year-old girl in a Scarborough street.

The assault occurred on New Park Road, Scarborough at around 7pm on Monday March 6.

Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident and are willing to come forward to aid the police in the investigation of this crime.
