Scarborough police are appealing for information after an assault in the town.
It occurred shortly before 4.30am on Wednesday (Today), in the area of the junction of Albion Crescent and Grosvenor Crescent.
As a result of the incident the victim, a 30-year-old local man, suffered minor injuries to his body. He was taken to Scarborough Hospital for treatment where he currently remains.
Inspector Graeme Kynman, of Scarborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you witnessed the assault, or can help to identify the person responsible, I urge you to contact the police straight away.”
