Police are hunting for a man who stole a watch from a charity shop in Scarborough.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft that occurred in Scarborough.

An electro-plated 18 carat gold Raymond Weil Watch was stolen from the St. Catherine's Hospice Charity Shop, Falsgrave Road, Scarborough.

It happened sometime between Monday 29 February and Wednesday 2 March 2016.

The watch serial number is 5514-2 and was fitted with a new Swiss battery serial number 371.
