Question Time for residents

Have your say

RESIDENTS in Scarborough will have the chance to put their questions to an expert panel in a Question Time style event next month.

It is being organised by the Scarborough Urban Area Forum and takes place in Scarborough Library and Information Centre in Vernon Road from 7pm on Wednesday June 15, with refreshments served from 6.50pm.

Senior figures from Scarborough Council, North Yorkshire County Council, the York and North Yorkshire Primary Care Trust, Scarborough Hospital and North Yorkshire Police will make up the panel and will answer questions submitted both before and during the event.

Chairing the meeting will be radio presenter Adam Tomlinson.

Scarborough Urban Area Forum chairman Lindy Rowley said: “This is an excellent opportunity for residents to raise issues and ask questions to senior decision makers from a range of services.

“There’s different ways to submit your questions and it’s shaping up to be a lively event, it’s a great chance to find out about topics that affect you and the area in which you live, so don’t miss out.”

To submit your questions in advance or for more information, contact area forum support officer Gemma Ryan on (01723) 383564 or visit the website.
