YOUNGSTERS from a Scarborough school produced a bumper crop during their Harvest Festival.
The children from Braeburn Infant and Nursery School collected a huge haul of tins, packets and store cupboard goodies for Scarborough’s Rainbow Centre.
Deputy headteacher Susan Chapman said: “Everyone did really well and brought lots of things in from home and we wish to thank parents for all their contributions.
“The organisers at the Rainbow Centre were really appreciative at their efforts.
“We also had an assembly in school where the children sang and did readings.
“They were wonderful and a lovely time was had by all.”
