Vintage fans can take a step back in time this weekend as the ever-popular Scarborough Vintage Fair hits town.

The event is taking place at the Spa Complex’s Grand Hall on Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is £2.50 for adults and under 12s get in free.

There will be more than 60 stalls of vintage clothes, furniture, homeware, jewellery, vinyl and everything in between including a delicious cup cake stall.

Stallholders will include Liz Coggins and Faith Manzira (pictured) from The Dressing Room in Leeds.

Co-organiser Debi Silver said: “Doors open from 10am until 5pm, you’ll need to be there early to fit it all in.

“Live Vintage entertainers Brandyn Shaw and Cherie Lawrence on stage throughout the day. Glamour seekers can get an up-sweep or a pin-curl at the vintage hair salon.

“Gentleman are not forgotten as our barber will be offering cut-throat shaves.

“Feel free to avail yourself of the dedicated social dance area situated adjacent to the Naafi which will be serving “proper dinners’.

“After all this excitement you may wish to chat over the tea cosy in the Promenade Lounge Vintage Tearoom where afternoon tea is available all day.

“Put on your glad rags folks and hot foot it down to The Spa this Sunday and shake a leg with the rest of us.” Debi added that the fair is proudly supporting St Catherine’s Hospice and The Lightfoot Trust.
