A charity is appealing for adventurous people to help it raise valuable funds by taking part in a 10,000ft skydive.
Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind have jump days at Bridlington Airfield in August and October but participants can also book a date of their choosing, giving themselves as much time as they like to raise the funds. No experience is necessary as any training needed will be provided at the event - and those who raise the minimum amount of sponsorship get to jump for free.
A spokesman for the charity said: “Mental health problems affect millions of people every year and with the help of adventurous parachutists we hope to raise the funds to reach more people and provide more support to people in Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale over the coming months.
“If you would like any more information or have any questions please contact us, we’d be happy to let you know what’s involved.”
