Scarborough and District Motor Club are revving up for a successful Red Nose Day with an event on Sunday March 10.

The club are holding a fundraising trial day at Low North Park, near the village of Harwood Dale, from 10am.

A group spokesman said the event would be raising cash - and hopefully people’s spirits as well.

He added: “This event will certainly bring the exhibitionists out and the trials lads - and observers - seem to have a unique talent for this dressing up lark.

“Twelve sections, if possible, and three laps around the old army camp, 10am start, or thereabouts,

“No stop rules, face painting, for big and little kids, usual safety wear must be worn, along with any dressing up that takes your fancy, but above all else a red nose must be worn.

“Please come along and support the club and raise much needed cash for good causes and also help further the good name of motorcycle trials.”

For more information about the event, please go to the club’s website at www.scarboroughdmc.co.uk or ring Dave Wilkinson on (01944) 728301

Red Nose Day 2013 will take place on Friday March 15, with people across Scarborough and the whole country pledging to “do something funny for money”.
