MORE than 1,000 runners will be pounding the seafront tomorrow as the third annual McCain Yorkshire Coast 10k race gets under way.
The event has proved a popular fixture on the athletics calendar, and will see runners set off from the Spa at 10am tomorrow.
International athlete Perry Shakes-Drayton will be officially starting the race.
Runners will head along the seafront to the North Bay before heading back via Northstead Manor Gardens.
The Halloween themed Family Fun Run, which covers a distance of 2.5km, will then follow.
