Ryedale’s show set to pull crowds

THOUSANDS of people are expected to flock to Kirkbymoorside this week for the annual Ryedale Show.

This year’s event is being held tomorrow at Welburn Park.

One of the most popular one day shows in Yorkshire, it features the cream of the district’s agricultural industry with pedigree livestock, top quality competitors, successful businesses and more

And Tuesday promises to be no different, according to Peter Woodall, the show secretary.

“The outlook is good,” he said. “We have the usual full house of high quality trade stands which will give the public lots to look through and entries are up across the board. There aren’t many places that you go in at eight in the morning and spend the whole day for that amount of money we charge.”

Organisers promise they have something to entertain every age and interest.
