Around 150 walkers - many in fancy dress - braved the cold weather to step out for the 54th annual Scalby Walk.

The fun-filled event started at the Nag’s Head in Scalby and will this year be raising money for Scarborough-based charity Ellie’s Fund.

Fancy dress costumes included 101 Dalmatians, Bill and Ben, along with Honey Monster complete with a packet of Sugar Puffs.

Organiser Jim Sloan said: “It’s been a great success with lots of entries on the day and some wonderful costumes.

“People have really got into the spirit of it.”
