SIR Jimmy Savile will be laid to rest in Woodlands Cemetery, Scarborough, at 1pm today.
Prior to the burial at the cemetery, the funeral cortege will arrive at in Scarborough at around 11.30am and head to Esplanade.
It will then make its way down past the Rotunda Museum onto Foreshore Road and pause at the foot of the Grand Hotel at around noon.
Funeral director John Benson will then lead the procession by foot as far as Luna Park.
The cortege will then make its way slowly round Marine Drive and on to Peasholm Gap.
Once over Peasholm roundabout, it will turn left onto Northstead Manor Drive, right onto North Leas Avenue leading onto Newlands Park Drive.
It will then turn left onto Green Lane, left onto Scalby Road and finally right onto Woodlands Drive and up to the cemetery.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the burial at Woodlands.
However, people are reminded that parking will be very limited and that areas will be cordoned off to protect existing graves.
