Scotter keen to learn as he takes on Harrison in Hull

Scarborough boxer Jamie Scotter is hoping to get some rounds under his belt when he takes to the ring for his second pro fight next week.

Scotter blasted away Polish opponent Przemyslaw Binienda in the first round of his pro debut in September, and the Scarborough super-middleweight admits he got caught up in the occasion.

“I need to take things a bit slower in this fight and maybe try and get some rounds in,” said Scotter, who takes on Richard Harrison in Hull on Saturday December 10.

“I just need to box clever. Maybe I got carried away on my debut with the atmosphere and everything, but it was an exciting night.”

Scotter has had a change of opponent with Harrison taking over from original opponent Kieron Gray.

That hasn’t bothered Scotter though, who insists it’s business as usual.

“We haven’t been working on the opponent anyway, we just concentrate on what I’m going to do,” Scotter added.
