Sea defences fight

Over the last few years I have had the pleasure of staying in Scarborough for a lot of weekends, I have grown to love the seaside, the two bays are lovely, especially the south side. The walk along the beach from the lifeboat station to the Spa is magic.

I think if they put rock armour down in front of the Spa wall it will spoil such a beautiful feature of Scarborough. Why not instead put wooden groynes into the sands, not only would it look good but would protect the Spa wall from the power of the coast.

I feel strongly about our seaside as do the Sons of Neptune who do such a good job, they need our support too, so as to keep Scarborough beaches clean and beautiful.
