MEMBERS of Scarborough Coastguard were called to help an ambulance crew after a 45-year-old diabetic man got into difficulty.

The alarm was raised at 8.17pm on Wednesday when the man was spotted on the rock armour, near to the Toll House, in Scarborough’s North Bay.

A Coastguard spokesman said they helped get the patient into the ambulance.
