SCARBOROUGH In Bloom volunteers have been swapping gardening for crafts as they stock up their Christmas caravan.
The first of two sale days proved a success as festive fare was sold from the In Bloom caravan as it was parked up in Westborough.
The van sold wreaths and table displays by former florist Anne Artley, as well as calendars by Scarborough in Bloom photographer Ron Womack and artist Avon Burnett.
In Bloom volunteer Andrew Stocking, said: “We had a really good first sale day. Lots of people purchased items, and we caught up with people we hadn’t seen in a while. It was great.”
Money raised from the sale goes towards Scarborough in Bloom. The next sale day will be in Westborough on Saturday.
