Shrek panto promises a fun night for all the family

HATTON School of Performing Arts will be performing an adaptation of family favourite ‘Shrek’ for their annual pantomime.

‘The Princess & The Ogre’ will be performed at the YMCA theatre next weekend.

Directors say the production, which features a 42 strong cast of all ages, is fit for the entire family for a night of fun.

The show will feature several familiar characters including Ogre, Princess Fiona and Donkey, alongside other well loved fairy tale parts such as Cinderella and Peter Pan.

David Hynde is cast as the Ogre, Janna Leith as the princess and Emilie Slade as Rapunzel, who are all looking forward to the show.

Performances are on Friday, January 28 at 7:30pm, Saturday, January 29 at 7:30pm and Sunday, January 30 at 2pm.
