QUEEN’S immortal music returns to the Futurist Theatre on Sunday, courtesy of Gary Mullen and his band.

One Night of Queen is billed as “a stunning two-hour concert recreating and celebrating the music of Queen.

In 2001, Gary won Stars in Their Eyes with his Freddie Mercury impersonation, with a record poll of nearly a million votes.

Since then he has been selling out theatres and thrilling audiences in the UK, Ireland, Germany and New Zealand with his portrayal of Freddie, says promoter Brenda Stead.

He and his band, the Works, deliver “all your favourite Queen hits along with fantastic staging, lighting and effects”, Brenda says.

They play all the Queen hits including We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, It’s a Kind of Magic and Another One Bites the Dust.

The success of Queen’s albums, videos and the West End stage musical We Will Rock You ensure that the public will never forget the band’s music.

The show is due to start at 7.30pm.
