Spa hosts nostalgic 90s night

NINETIES pop bands S Club 3, Five and Scooch play at the Spa Grand Hall on Saturday.

In a similar vein to the 80s Rewind shows, I Love the 90s features three acts that had 24 top-10 singles in the UK, says the Spa’s sales and marketing officer Stewart Ward.

As S Club, the headliners enjoyed hit singles including Bring it all Back and the infectious Reach.

Now original members Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara are back together “to remind us that there ain’t no party like an S Club party”, says Stewart.

Five enjoyed worldwide success and were awarded best pop act at the 2000 Brit awards. Their hits include Everybody Get Up and Keep on Movin’. Original members Scott Robinson and Abs Breen are now back together to perform the boyband’s greatest hits.

Scooch had three top-20 singles in the 90s and represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. Their high-energy show Scooch do Glee features their songs and songs inspired by the US TV show.

Saturday’s show is due to begin at 7.30pm.
