A YOUTH has been taken to hospital after he was tasered by police after a stand-off in a garage in Scarborough.
Police negotiators were called to an address in St Luke’s Crescent, off Scalby Road, at 8am.
They said the youth had been threatening to self-harm.
It is understood that the youth will be arrested once he is treated in hospital for injuries, which are not thought to be serious.
St Luke’s Crescent and part of Scalby Road were closed as police dealt with the incident.
