With the new football ground now firmly on its way, we can now get down to planning what will be an exciting future.
I’m having a meeting with the board this week to discuss where we are and where we want to be.
It will be great for this football club to finally be back in Scarborough, it has been a long absence.
Obviously we are still looking firmly at booking our place in the play-offs this season, so it was disappointing not to be in action at Ramsbottom on Tuesday night.
The postponement has meant that the league has unfolded a little bit more and we know a little bit more about where we are.
It is certainly getting interesting for the 10 or so teams that are involved.
We have two very big games coming up over the next few days, firstly at home to Glossop North End on Saturday and then on the road in the re-arranged game at Ramsbottom on Tuesday.
These are games that we have to go out and win.
It won’t be easy against two very good sides, but at the moment there isn’t a lot of room for draws or defeats.
The lads all know the thought process that we need and we need to make sure that we stick to exactly that.
