We may have lost out at Glossop on Saturday, but you have to take the positives out of it.
I thought we did well against a highly-fancied side, the only difference was the fact that we didn’t put the ball in the back of the net.
We hit the woodwork four times, on another day we’d have finished those chances and come away with three points.
The good thing is the fact that we are making opportunities, if we weren’t then it would be a concern.
We can’t dwell on the loss because we have plenty of football ahead of us.
Prescot Cables will provide us with another tough test on Saturday.
Other teams don’t need to be told to rev themselves up for games against us, whoever we play they are always right up for a game against Scarborough Athletic.
When Glossop beat us on Saturday it was like they’d won a cup final, you can see how much it means to our opposition.
We have to dig in though and continue to progress.
Fortunately we go into the game verging on full-strength, but we’ll be having a chat at training and seeing where we are.
As we’ve shown this week, we are always trying to add to the squad, we’re working hard to take things on.
Hopefully we’ll have something sorted in time for our trip to Prescot.
