Staff at Scarborough Hospital have been on strike this morning as part of a national NHS walkout.
Workers taking part in the strike both locally and across the country include nurses, midwives and ambulance staff.
Members of six trade unions took part from 7am to 11am in a dispute over pay.
The unions involved in the action were Unison, GMB, Unite, the Royal College of Midwives, UCATT and the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
It is not yet clear how much disruption was caused by the walkout.
