FUN for all the family was on offer at a new event for Osgodby.
The Poacher’s Carnival pulled in people of all ages on Saturday with a host of attractions.
The event, held at the Poacher’s Barn pub in the village, featured stalls, bouncy castles, a vintage and current fire engine, a family treasure hunt, face painting, cream teas and more.
Entertainment throughout the day was provided by dancers from the Hatton School of Performing Arts, while jazz music was played by Opus 1.
Karen Leesing, who organised the event with Poachers landlady Nicole Richardson, said: “When we heard the Osgodby Carnival wasn’t running this year we thought it wasn’t right that the community was not going to have its own festival.
“Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been great, but it has been nice to see so many people in Osgodby come out and support us.
“Thank you to everyone who has come along or participated, and huge thank you to the performers, the fire crews for bringing their engines, and Playdale Farm for donating the prize for the treasure hunt.”
