THE outlook is sunny as experts predict that the warm weather will hold out for the bank holiday weekend.

Temperatures in Scarborough have not dipped below double figures in three days – with a high of 57.2F (14C) set to hit tomorrow through to Friday.

It is the hottest and most prolonged spell of good weather so far this year.

The gauge will hover round the 53F (12C) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Light to medium winds are predicted all week and it will feel cooler during the night, with temperatures dropping as low as 39F (4C).
