Three people injured in crash

Three people have sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on the A64 near Crambeck Bridge.

The incident occurred just before 3pm today (Monday October 10) involving a Peugeot 207 and a Citroen Xsara.

A police spokesperson said: "The incident occurred on the A64 just passed Malton on the westbound carriageway near the bridge over the River Crambeck."

Three people were injured in the collision. Two are believed to have sustained minor injuries and the third has sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The road is believed to be open.
