They say it’s best to learn from a young age and the same goes for animals too.
If you’re the owner of a young pooch, you can teach it new skills at friendly training sessions in town.
Following the popularity of its puppy classes, Scarborough and District All Breeds Dog Training Club is now introducing a second training session, starting this Sunday, April 7.
The new times are 3.10pm for puppies up to eight months old and 3.45pm for dogs over eight months.
The course will run for 10 weeks at the club’s new base, St Luke’s Church Hall in Stepney Drive, which has both indoor and outdoor training facilities, weather dependent.
Attendees are asked to arrive 15 minutes before lessons commence.
A small fee is charged to cover costs of the hall.
The club aims to help people to train their four-legged friends and to become responsible dog owners.
