HUNDREDS of well-wishers have signed a book in honour of a popular Scarborough shop worker, who broke his back in a crash.
Staff at the Tesco store in Castle Road set up the book for shoppers and friends to sign only days after their colleague Adam Tilley, pictured, was involved in a near-fatal shunt while out cycling in Hutton Buscel.
One well-wisher wrote: “Already missing your wonderful smile and thoughtfulness”, while another wrote “It’s just not the same here without you.”
And Mr Tilley, an avid Manchester City fan, also received several messages wishing his side well in their quest for the Premiership.
Mr Tilley is facing two months of bed rest following his crash. Staff at the store say he is doing well.
