Heslerton made a poor start on their own turf, slipping to 4-3 wickets in the first five overs against a rampant Valley side.

in the end they were bowled out in 35 overs for an inadequate 109, a total that was bolstered by Stuart Pickard (54) who produced his teams man of the match performance, all the wickets were shared by the visitors bowlers.

Replying a flurry of boundaries put Valley in command but it was Tom Varey (45) who ensured the East Ayton side's victory, despite Stuart Pickard completing a fine match with (3-37).

Flixton also progressed, beating Bolton Percy by 39 runs.

Harry Walmsley led the way for Flixton, remaining unbeaten on 92, while Rob Lacey made an unbeaten 65. Richard Malthouse and Anthony Stones both managed scores in the 20s.

The Bolton reply was stunted to 241 by the bowling of Stuart Stocks (4-32) and Jamie Nesfield (3-37).

Cayton were dismissed for 50 chasing down Sessay's total of 241-9 in a 191-run defeat.
