VISITORS to Scarborough’s North Bay this weekend may be greeted with a rather unusual site: Over 50 Morris Minors.
Fans of the iconic vehicle, which peaked in popularity during the 60’s, will be taking part in the 10th annual Morris Minor Roses Run Activity Rally on Sunday.
The convoy will see drivers travel approximately 165 miles from Morecambe, before arriving at The Watermark cafe at around 4pm.
Enthusiasts have previously travelled from all over Europe for the rally, and each vintage car is sponsored to raise funds for charity.
This year the charity is Help for Heroes, which will have some of its members greeting the cars as they cross the finishing line, and race organisers are hoping to raise over £1000 for the cause.
