A major vintage fair is being held at Scarborough Spa Complex this weekend.

The event, presented by AdVintageous, will take place on Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with admission £2 and under 12s free.

The fair has proved a huge success in the past and is back with over 50 stalls showcasing everything vintage.

It will feature a vintage tearoom, live entertainers, hair and beauty salon, classic bikes and scooters, NAAFI serving a 1940s menu, vintage cars and much more.

With vintage fashion and style all the rage at the moment, organisers are expecting it to be a busy weekend.

And with interest in all things vintage on a high following Wartime Weekend in Pickering, the event is set to be a hit.

Katrina Flynn, one of the organisers, said: “What delights await you dear vintage lovers! Perhaps you are a vintage novice, an occasional vintage admirer or are you a hard core devotee?

“Whichever hat fits, rest assured you will be agog at the amazing array of fine purveyors of fashion, home ware, jewellery and everything in between.

“The country’s finest will sing and dance their hearts out for you and should you feel the urge to join in there will be many opportunities to trip the light fantastic.

“Those of you who salivate at the two or four wheeled vintage scooters, buses and cars are not forgotten.

“Ladies, do you yearn to rediscover that glamorous persona that lurks beneath the homogenous high-street you?

“If so, you can primp and preen, pamper and pout, trial a 1940s victory roll, a 1950s pony tail or a 1960s beehive at the pop-up hair salon.”
