WALKERS from across the Scarborough area have played their part in a huge charity boost.
The Marie Curie Walk Ten, based at Castle Howard, has already raised £23,000, with further donations still flooding in.
Kyla Collins, a fundraiser for the charity, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who took part this year who have helped to raise this fantastic amount.
“Walk Ten is a wonderful and very exciting event, giving people the chance to walk 10km in stunning surroundings, but also allowing them to recognise the dedication of Marie Curie Nurses.”
Next year’s walk will take place on Saturday, August 4.
