SUPPORT Scarborough’s Yorkshire Air Ambulance and come autumn, you could be rolling under the covers of this patchwork quilt.
Margaret Douglas donated the result of her handiwork to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance which is now selling raffle tickets for the quilt from its charity stall in the Market Hall, St Helen’s Square.
Jean Dixon, team leader of the Scarborough Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity said the quilt would be at home in any household.
She said: “Margaret made a patchwork quilt for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, she wanted it to be raffled and to go to a good cause which it will.
“It’s one of the nicest we’ve had, it’s beautiful.
“It’s a cream background with a nice design so it should go with most things.”
People can now purchase raffle tickets which will be on sale until Saturday September 24 at the price of £1 for five tickets.
