SHOPPERS swapped the trolley aisles for a trip down the Yellow Brick Road on a supermarket visit from YMCA performers.
Dorothy, Tin-Man, Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow were among a 20-strong cast from YMCA’s summer show who entertained at Sainsbury’s in Falsgrave, raising money for the organisation.
Store trainer Fiona Daplyn said it went down well with many heels clicking to the music.
She said: “The cast from YMCA came all dressed up and they bag-packed and sung songs from the Wizard of Oz which is their upcoming summer show.
“They raised £517 to go towards the YMCA which is fabulous. There were crowds standing to watch and children dancing at the sides.
The Wizard of Oz is showing from August 1 until September 8.
