Wide variety on offer at the Commercial

THE music of the Blues Brothers, Freddie Mercury, the Beatles, George Michael, Tom Jones and Robbie Williams can be heard at the Commercial over the few months.

Acts covering their repertoires will play on the last Friday of every month, starting on Friday with Rob Keen and Kenny Stephens, who impersonate the Blues Brothers.

“Playing such classic songs as Everybody Needs Somebody, Soul Man and Rawhide, soul men Rob and Kenny take all the style and energy and most of all fun from the 80s musical masterpiece and deliver it with great gusto in this ultimate party show”, says Peter Day, who runs the pub.

Coming up are Danny Cole as Freddie Mercury (25 Feb), the Mersees duo as the Beatles (25 Mar), Adrian Michael as George Michael (29 Apr), Tony Scarfe as Tom Jones (27 May), Chris Campbell as Robbie Williams (23 June).
