FINDING out their childminder has “a mucky laugh” was one of the main highlights for youngsters on a trip to the Spa’s annual pantomime.

Alongside Aladdin and a colourful cast, Widow Twankey was on top form entertaining an eager crowd which included children from Wendy Pedley’s childminding service.

The show was enjoyed by all 16 members along with parents and staff.

Mrs Pedley said: “They thought it was brilliant, they had such a good time and they were shouting and getting really involved.

“A couple of the younger ones were completely mesmerised by it.

“It’s the first year we’ve done it, usually we have a big party with all the parents but this year we thought we’d go to the panto. It was such a big hit we’ll probably do it again next year.”
