VILLAGERS in Wykeham had a Whizz of a time during their annual fun day.
Around 250 people attended the event which saw a plethora of stalls including books and handicrafts, cakes and preserves and jewellery, with crowds entertained by musicians from Scarborough’s St Augustine’s School.
The day also included an archery challenge and a tractor run featuring 10 vintage machines which rumbled through Wykeham and nearby forests before making it to the show field.
Laurence Day, an organiser said: “We’ve not had a bad turn out and everyone has been very happy with the stalls, entertainment and tractors on display and the musicians also did an outstanding job.
“This is one of the biggest things we have in Wykeham during the year and we get a lot of people who come along and enjoy themselves.”
